TOM MULLEN

Tom has been practicing yoga and mindfulness for more than 15 years. He has found a true positive energy through practicing yoga at Revolution Power Yoga. He loves the grounding discovered in the RPY practice of asanas and breath. The teachers and community at RPY are always supportive, fun, and caring. He considers his yoga practice an extension of his mindfulness practice.

He has found that regularly practicing mindfulness and yoga helps alleviate symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, and feelings of being overwhelmed. Mindfulness and yoga have provided him skills that make it less likely to be hooked and reactive toward negative thoughts and emotions. In addition, and one of the most amazing aspects of his practice, is the awe he has found in noticing the joys of life. Joys that were there all the time but were just being missed or passed over. These practices have provided a path to living a more wholesome life where the body, mind and heart are integrated. Because of these positive experiences, he developed a deep desire to share meditation practices with others.

After meeting pre-requisites, he attended the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training Intensive at the UC San Diego Center for Integrative Health. In 2020 he became a Qualified MBSR instructor. He has led meditation in a group setting, attended multiple silent retreats, and has been a participant/student of MBSR and other mindfulness-based programs.

He believes there is an inner wisdom in all of us that is always present and available.  Everyone has the capacity, the depth, and ability to access this wisdom and know their own basic goodness. Tom’s offerings help others use mindfulness and yoga to discover their wholeness and embrace the full experience of “being” human.

Tom has been a resident of the Vail area for 34 years. In 2020 he retired from a successful career in retail. He resides in Eagle-Vail with his wife Laurie and their dog Abby.  He enjoys biking, skiing, yoga, being in nature, camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

CHUCK TOMS

A native Virginian, Chuck moved to the valley in 1995 for the adventurous outdoors lifestyle afforded in the Colorado mountains, and over the years created a new life, an established business, and growing family in EagleVail. Curious about yoga, in January 2019 Chuck signed up for a 40 Days to Personal Revolution program at the studio (and his first ever yoga class) - quickly realizing yoga was more than flexibility, balance and strength training, but also about a community to uncover himself while practicing on his mat. He became a 200 hour certified yoga instructor the same Spring at Revolution Power Yoga’s teacher training. Guiding you through a practice based in the Baptiste methodology, Chuck will inspire you to find your own power in self-expression and to build awareness while having fun together in the flow. Chuck enjoys playing soccer, golfing and music with friends, and spending family time with his wife Kim and their two sons, especially at the beach, when not in the studio practicing yoga or connecting with community.

She studied journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she spent time exploring the world around her and translating it onto paper. Now, she calls home this very valley that taught her what it feels like to live intuitively. Chloe admires the art of the yoga practice. There is something so innately human to be able to connect breath to movement. She encourages her students to come back home to their bodies during their flow, and to enjoy the journey that is the human experience. When she is not on her yoga mat, Chloe is either writing, on the mountain, or writing on the mountain.
