BRIANNA BARRY

Brianna was brought into the world of Power Vinyasa Yoga spontaneously in
April of 2018, post a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (an auto immune disease) in July of 2016. Seeking direction and purpose, she took advantage of a free pass to Revolution Power Yoga, not knowing anything about the studio or yoga in general. After that class she knew she had unearthed a path that would host a new journey for her life; an adventure of self-awareness and well-being. Her new found ability to tap into unacknowledged strength within her was enlightening and eye opening.

Since then she has formed a new relationship with her mind, body, and the disease; seeing the diagnosis as a blessing in disguise. Following countless breakthroughs on her mat, Brianna embraced the opportunity to enroll in Revolution Power Yoga’s 200-hour Teacher Training course, steeped in the Baptiste methodology, that she completed in May 2019. With her newly discovered purpose guided through yoga and self-inquiry, she now defines herself as one apart from the disease. She gets great satisfaction out of being a mentor to others’ discovery of what is possible beyond a diagnosis or difficult life changing event. Brianna’s classes are led with loving intentions of purpose, ease, empowerment, and rejuvenation as she guides her class through the Journey into Power sequence. She can most often be met, if not at the yoga studio, writing, on the slopes, or in the woods either hiking, biking, camping, fishing, or hunting. She invites you to join her classes to embrace new possibility

While nannying in a tiny Swedish village at 18yrs old, Heidi discovered Baptiste yoga and was instantly hooked, showed up nonstop and created a global family which lead her to attend several Baptiste trainings thereafter.

Heidi has competed her tier 1 certification with the Baptiste Institute and plans on teaching power yoga all over the world in the future. She will encourage you to find the magic within the tiny spaces, the transitions, the micro adjustments and the pauses in between the big poses, all while inspiring you to dig deeper and step out of your comfort zone.

Expect to play, sweat, laugh, get messy and silly and most importantly come willing to fall apart and be picked back up by our Revolution community.

GRACE TENNANT
Teacher

Grace truly believes that yoga has helped her through some really tough times and has led her to the pretty awesome spot that she is in right now!!! She found Baptiste Yoga by accident when she was on a visit back to New Jersey, where she grew up. From the first class, Grace was hooked. She was drawn to the physicality and accessibility of Baptiste Yoga from the start, and the more she learned, the more she loved Baptiste Yoga. Grace completed her yoga teacher training through the Baptiste Institute, and finished in July, 2016.

Grace surrounds herself with positive energy and loves what positive vibes can do to create an intentional and purposeful life. She was a public-school teacher for 14 years, mostly at the middle school level, and loves bringing mindfulness and yoga to both kids and adults. Grace just finished her doctoral degree in education and works with the Roaring Fork School to increase student and family engagement, sense of belonging and voice.

Grace worked as teacher-mentor for the Africa Yoga Project, which is one of her favorite non-profit organizations and hopes to bring her family to Nairobi and assist in a Baptiste yoga teacher training sometime soon.

Come join Grace to explore your own practice, challenge yourself, and have fun! All levels are welcome to her classes, and you can expect a creative, energizing, and powerful experience!
